I would highly suggest just playing base atm9 if that’s your goal since Greg is fully integrated and functional there. If you don't, just use Mekanism for most of your tech needs. People play GT packs because they're looking for that complexity and challenge. In ATM9 it's pretty optional and the gregtech progression is mostly unchanged so it's actually a good pack to learn the mod in if you want. If you mix Mekanism with GT, you can get even more nether stars per wither skeleton skull!
